Composite Doors

Made of of 65mm reinforced fibreglass monocoque structure. All of our Palladio Doors start their life as a real oak timber door. We lift the grain from the original oak door using a gel mould and then transfer the grain detail on to a Palladio composite Door to ensure all our doors have the most natural grain finish.

Composition of Palladio doors differs from all others in its MONOCOQUE structure. This structure gives it a massive strength-to wight ratio and is protected in Europe by patent number 1766176. Apart from the monocoque design there are a lot of other innovative features to this door. For instance, they have designed and manufactured a hinge exclusively for this door, so it is visually concealed unlike the more commonly used flag hinge, which is unsightly. The glazing system with beads that look like wood is also very attractive. The wood grain finish is superb, due to the fact that all tooling is made in house. In a very unique process, they replicate exactly the finish of a real oak door, 100% true to the original.
In addition to this all their glass is triple glazed and they use edgetech warm edge seals for the lowest U value possible of 0.7. Combined with their new range of Patinated glass designs that consists of a sandblasted glass with a clear border that will give you modern and contemporary design. Their patinated design is achieved through sandblasting not by films or resins that is completely environmentally friendly that will last a lifetime.

Guarantees

Profile Developments offer all our customers (installers/ suppliers/ resellers) a 12-year manufacturing guarantee on all our Palladio and Avant Garde doors against discolouration, bubbling, blistering or any manufacturing fault. On all moving parts, there is a 1-year guarantee with a 5-year guarantee on all our marine grade 316 Stainless steel furniture. There is also a 5-year guarantee on glass.
