Integrated Magnetic Blinds

Introducing the BGB Blackout – an integral magnetic blind designed to block out all light, perfect for dark rooms, bedrooms and other areas where complete blackout may be needed.

A specially designed honeycomb curtain with a bespoke internal foil lining to ensure no light passes through is now available hermetically sealed within a standard 28mm thick double glazed unit. Like our BGB Venetian blind the blackout version is controlled via our uniquely robust and smooth-to-operate magnet to ensure easy operation even on the larger size blinds.

Width – 228mm up to 1500mm; Height – 350mm up to 2999mm
(some restrictions will apply on these dimensions depending on overall area of unit)

Colours

White (RAL 9016), silver (RAL 7042 and champagne (RAL7032) – and the frame/magnet is available in all standard BGB magnetic colours.

With new installations and retrospectively into uPVC

Types of glass

The most popular options include toughened, laminated, obscure and patterned glass. Other possibilities are sandblasted, fire rated, acoustic glazing and many other types often seen in commercial installations.
